I wish I would of just done that with my KB 2.2 and just waited. Kicking myself in the azz today for that still. Be nice to be the only KB cobra out here but oh well live and learn and I will get another one.

I'd skip the 2.2L. I'd get a 2.6H KB or a 2.3L Whipple.

I thought about that too, but with the 2.6H wont I need serious fuel upgrades or no? I like the way the whipples look but this might sound lame, but I'm also in love with the scream the KB Cobras put out. The only thing I dont like about the KB 2.2 is the catch can. I love how the newer KB's look cleaner without the catch can and 2 oil lines going to and from it. Blake was talking about going with the Whipple 2.3 and so I dont wanna get the same thing, rather be different for out here ya know.

With any twinscrew you are going to need fuel and induction upgrades. It is not the blower that dictates the upgrades that are needed, rather it's the amount of boost, or more technically, the amount of CFM you are trying to run. If you are going to be around 20PSI or less you can probably get by with just injectors, GT pumps, dual FPDM's or a single Stage 2 FPDM, and a MAF upgrade. A fuel line upgrade is not a must until way past the power level you are going to be at.

The only blower that will scream like that is going to be the 2.2L and the 2.4L, and honestly there are much better choices out there for making power. If all you want is sound but not the power stick to the Eaton. Also, the new style snout 2.2L's do not have a catch can. I'm not sure what you mean about the oil lines on a "newer KB" either. The blowers all have internal oiling systems.

^^^x2 if you want the scream I'll sell you my ported eaton when I go TS or you could look for the 2.2L Gen ll those don't have the catch can as Hunter stated.

No bro I mean about the oil lines for the older KB 2.2's like Cullen had and the one I had for a few weeks, but yeah the lines that go to the snout and cant' remember where the other one goes too. I wanted the power but with the way the terrain is out here due to road conditions it's not a logical choice. But I'm leaning more towards a ported eaton then if I PCS down the road to another base or back to FL then KB will be on the list of mods.

Well, the power wouldnt be an issue. My car drives like stock until you mash on the fun pedal.
